Another Scare from Santa

Instead of waiting in the mall with a pager for 2 hours to see Santa, we went to Steve's office where they called in the big guy from the North Pole for a special visit. Bethany lasted 1.5 seconds before reading Santa the riot act. Notice Bethany's Christmas gown (and the baby doll's to match)? Another creation made especially by mommy!

Fun with Fosters

Friday night my friends Maggie and Zach came over while their parents went to a Christmas Party. We ate dinner together, colored pictures, played musical instruments and read lots of books. It was great fun!

Always a New Outfit

Bethany has another new outfit that she wanted to share with the world. This one was a gift from our friends the Digerness's of Birmingham. Thanks guys!

Thanksgiving at the Adams

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house this year. The whole fam came down, except for Mark (with his girl), and the Perrets came over too. Lots of people, lots of food, lots of fun. It was actually the most relaxing part of my week. Getting ready for the Nutcracker was crazy!! We are so thankful for all God has given us.

Halloween Fun!!

It is so much fun doing things with Bethany for the first time!! This Halloween was very eventful(sp?) Our day started with a visit from Bethany's friend J.T. Bethany was thrilled to have a friend to play with and I was thrilled that she was entertained and off my leg :) Then Bethany had her 15 month check-up..two shots :( luckily J.T. was there to play with her in the waiting room for our HOUR wait! Then we headed to the carnival at Steve's office...lots of food, fun, and games! Then we had our annual small group party at the Zevac's where we dressed up, trick or treated, and ate yummy chili! We had great fun....hope you did too!

Cousin Amy Gets Married

Instead of flying back to Georgia from San Francisco, Bridget and I flew straight to Ft. Meyers, FL to meet up with my parents who flew Bethany down from Birmingham so that we could all reunite for Amy (my cousin)and Ray's wedding. Great to see family and relax on the beach!

San Francisco Trip

Bridget and I were blessed to be able to fly out to San Francisco to share in one of my closest friend's wedding (Joseph Digerness and Rachel Yoo). Bethany stayed with the grandfolks so we took about 6 days to see the city while we were out there - love it. Tried to share bits and pieces of what we saw below, but there is really just too much, everyone needs to go sometime. It was an awesome time of renewal for our marriage and truly an honor to share with such a great friend being humbled by the covenant of marriage.

Alcatraz - really cool. Great views of the city and a lot of history.

We spent an entire day driving through the Sonoma Valley. We visited a total of 7 great wineries and Champagne Cellars and then took a detour on the way home to get a great view of the city at night...pretty romantic ;)

One evening we ate dinner at a great Italian place in Sausalito and watched the fog roll in to the Bay and cover the buildings of San Francisco in a matter of minutes.

We stayed 3 blocks away from this famous block of Lombard St.

Two Week Update

OK, I know it's been a while since we last provided an update, as you can see from the previous post date of August 20th...(I hate that our laziness is documented like that). Anyway, Bethany's recent antics include following Oscar everywhere, carrying a leash around the house for hours at a time, visiting the grandparents for Labor Day and learning to play golf with daddy. We'll update again very soon...sorry.
